About The Artist: Vincent Floyd Evermore
Vincent Floyd Evermore is an extremely well-rounded artist / independent filmmaker who takes tremendous pride in his work, & believes strongly in "bringing forth whatever comes through."
Aside from being a filmmaker who wears many hats in production, Vincent is also a self-published author (www.Anxiety101.com), & musical composer as well who likes to score "certain types of films." ...Musically, he composes what he likes to call "visual music."
After a long journey of self-introspection & self-discovery, Vincent has just begun to hit stride as an artist, as he has his hands full these days with multiple projects, including the long awaited release of his 15 yr. "opus" Gas Station Etiquette, which is now slated for public release February 2022.
Aside from writing books that deal with self-help, psychology, & metaphysics, Vincent also thoroughly enjoys writing scripts & screenplays for film...
But if there is a strength to Vincent's filmmaking, it's his strong editing skills, & his extremely keen sense of working with sound, sound effects, & music.
Working on Final Cut Pro X since its release in June of 2011, Vincent takes great pride in being a "pure fcpx editor" - stating that: "there is just nothing else like it out there (that's even remotely close). It's an incredible editing platform to work with, & honestly, I can't see myself (ever) working with tracks again!

Better Late Than Never...
After a long road of school & giving the "work force" a try, Vincent quit it all, started a landscaping business, & then "discovered" his gift for filmmaking at the age of 36.
After a strong start out of the gate with 2 short films, & countless "video projects" in just his first year of filmmaking, it didn't take long before Vincent would conceive "a simple little idea" that (unbeknownst at the time) would then literally consume his life for the next 15 years!
Gas Station Etiquette (Vincent's 3rd film), conceived in the Summer of 2007, has been a 15 yr. "film process" that started out as a "simple idea" (for a small little skit), which then ultimately developed, matured, & grew into what is now, a full length 2 hr. feature film! Original cut: (3 hrs.).
"I've questioned this film many times because honestly, it's a crazy film, & I don't feel like it's the type of film that I would normally make, so it produced some personal fear. But I'm the type of artist that feels 'whatever comes through' comes through for a reason… So I stayed committed to the film (along with its concept) in spite of the fear. Now that it's basically a wrap (Thank God), I can honestly say it has been an incredible journey, & I'm very proud of the work!
Better late than never? "Yes, I truly believe that we all come here with a plan, a purpose, & a set of skills that's truly inborn, & God given, but the whole trick is to find the strength, courage, & faith to search for it, & "discover it" within yourself; because once you do, you then know "why you are here" & that's the key!
